HCW Development, LLC, the development group behind Branson Landing, has submitted new plans to the city of Branson to add new store space to the far north side of the property. Rather than extend the frontage along Branson Landing’s urban pedestrian street, this development seems to be more of a typical, simplistic strip mall complete with added parking in front. This development does not cut into the current parking lot, but will take up the currently empty gravel lot that butts up against Roark Creek (google maps view).

While more retail space and development is generally positive news for Branson, there is growing dissatisfaction with the typical strip mall developments taking place all over Branson.
