We recieved our 2013 season passes today in the mail. ;D
That was pretty quick. I didnt buy them till 12/30. Anyway I cant wait till March 23/24/25 (as that is our first "semi" planned trip to SDC).
Passes came with the same coupons as last year (best I can remember), but you can now get discounts at a few more places. (most notibly) RFD theatre for Buck Trent, Grand Country--motel--theatre--buffet--Papa Grands Pizza. There may be a few more new discounts too. I already put my stuff away so I can find them when I need them.

Still able to purchase parking pass for 30 bucks..

$30 parking pass??? What was the cost last year? That seems like a big jump.

Swoosh I beg to differ with you.
I thought this was a huge jump as well and I was correct.
The pass WAS 18.00 in 2012.
It has raised up 12.00 in 1 year. Then again I think the parking itself has taken a large jump as well.
It is becoming obvious they are really grabbing where they can. this is a 40% jump I believe....

I am sorry all. I was not trying to imply that there was a deadline to purchase the 2013 season pass. I was completely unaware that anyone could gather that from my post.
I was simply stating that I purchased them online on Dec. 30, 2012---and they arrived via "snail mail" on Jan. 11, 2013. I thought that was a very quick turn around. That was simply the message I was trying to prevail. I am sorry if I worded it any different.
Also I noticed a couple new places to receive discounts with the new pass. There may be several changes in the discount program---I threw away the 12 sheet, so I was just guessing at my memory.

They extended the deadline again last week, for another week. Expires today, I think. Don't remember them doing that twice (w/o reducing the benefits) in past years.

jap, your right about the BAF's , by this time last year they were including the "10.00" BAF..

I remember them extending the deadline a few times last year, but - yeah - I don't remember offering them offering the BAFs' each time, either.

We got ours Tuesday and only ordered them like January, 29. Pretty quick turnaround and a pretty sweet deal if You go often and make use of the BAFs. Now if it were only March hmmm.......

You are correct the parking pass last year was 18.00. I was disappointed with the increase but I have to say I received made my money on it back easily and see no reason I won't this year either. When you have two kids and strollers it is so much easier to walk and the closer the park whe. Incomes to strollers and kids is well worth. I just wish they would make the pass where one could be used for more then car for families.

I don't have a problem walking to/from Lot C, so I didn't see the need to spend the extra money

Now with a stroller, I assumed we would have some issues, but one season down with parking out in C and even our in no man's land out by the rock pile, and we did just fine without paying to park.

I love how we "old timers" still call that lot "C" even though "C turnaround" has been gone forever

Is it too late to order season passes over the phone and receive them before opening day?

Str8fan, I can't answer your question, but I wonder if you order over the phone if they would "hold" them for pickup at Hospitality or somewhere similar. It would be worth the phone call to find out. Then, you could let us know what how it worked out. Regardless, have fun!

They do hold tickets. I have done it before. Call and order them and then tell them you will pick them up. They send a confirmation email. Print that out and take it with you as proof.

Trams, that sounds right.. i knew a few years ago, i printed something and picked it up at ticket booth.... And now that you say that. I know that was the circumstance.

Yes I have done the same thing myself. STR8fan. You should be fine. Call SDC, buy your passes, and have them hold them for you.
