That's usually the weekend we go but we wanted to see the Wild West Show and it ends on the 18th.

We will be at SDC Thanksgiving Day, Friday & Saturday. This will be our 2nd trip to SDC this year.
We missed going last year for OTC, because our daughter was only a month old. Excited to take her and continue  the tradition with her.
Looks like rain for the entire time we are there, maybe that will drive away the crowds? we'll see.... ::)

The Wife and I, along with most of our local friends and family, will be at the City on Sunday 12/6. Can't wait to visit home for a couple of days!

HB, Old SDCer, Shave...I should be working on Sat 2-8 unless it changes this week! I'll have to let you know where I am at so you can come by. Not positive what entry level it'll be, bussing tables, etc. but hopefully I'll be able to see some of you all, and have somebody get a pic or two of me for my scrapbook.

Well, the rain DID drive the crowds away after all. 17,000 were expected on Friday...only got 3,000. I'll write more in the Trip Review thread!  :)

Yes, it did!  But, the rain ended mid evening and the night was beautiful.  By 9:00 we felt as though we had the park to ourselves.  Raindrops accented the lights and all was beautiful!

^ Couldn't agree more! The rain never really bothered us, as it was hit-n-miss. We loved being able to stroll along easily.
