When we checked in a Treasure Lake last week we were given a map to our camp site, on the map was this ad.  We too have traveled with pets and in the past had taken our dog into SDC, but that was around 12 years ago.  I didn't have time to stop by this doggy daycare/spa,
but I believe it is close to Dockers.  Has anyone used them?  I (my dog) may get the opportunity in a few weeks.  Has anyone used them or can make a recommendation? Thanks!!

Yeah, umm, 8-5 and $50 a head wouldn't work for us, either.  :o

For $50 dollars a dog we will be in business soon.  6 dogs 7 days a week March-Dec not a bad living.  $80,000

I guess I am too much of a traditionalist.  I do not want pets in the park outside of service animals.

My humble opinion.

Well, tradition was that pets were allowed.

I work part-time at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. Pet's are not allowed in the visitor's center, but service animals are allowed.  According to our guidelines, if a guest tells us it's a service animal, we can't question it. Which makes me wonder how many animals that come inside the building are trained "service" animals.

That is 49.00 for " full service"
I think a shampoo, cut, dip and nails here is 40.00
THat really isnt bad considering the service

I use to bring my toy poodle with me on vacation back in the 80s but now days I would not want to deal with a pet.

My bad if it was tradition. Current rules are good.  I have only history back to 1994.

Sorry.

I recall at least once or twice when I was a kid that we took along a miniature dachshund. That would have been c.1973, though.

This is probably off subject but, does anyone remember that dalmation dog that the fire marshall used to walk around with at SDC? I was just wondering if he ever got replaced after he died.

A plaque in memory of Buckets is now on the column that sits beside the new puppy.
