I'm around cars alot, & clean them for a livin', & play with'm in the dirt on the weekends..
So, whats ya'r daily driver? And back-up cars?
I drive a 98 Hyundai Elantra with 169,000+ miles on it - my woman drives a 98 Ford Escort with 176,000+ miles on it - our back-up is a 93 Nissan Sentra with 207,000+ miles on it. Our fun / work in progress ride is a 1950 Ford F-1 truck with a flathead V8.
Anyone else?
My current horse in the stable is a black in color 2008 Ford Mustang! 8)
I want to upgrade to the newer body styles, but money is just too tight at the moment. :'( Oh well, my current pony is going to take me to Branson in two weeks, so it will be okay. :)
Used to have a 2004 Dodge Dakota till the engine blew up (see in the background)
Now I drive my Dad's old 2005 cavalier :-[ I sure hope the economy turns around soon
Daily: 2000 GMC conversion van (TrailMaster)
As needed: 1982 GMC half ton pickup
In the back yard waiting restoration: 1966 Chevy pickup with 46,000 original miles
In my dreams: 427 Cobra
Our dream ride would be a Jeep Wrangler or dunebuggy.
Currently, a 2005 Ford Ranger pick up and 2010 Honda Accord.
Fantasy rides: 1957 Chevy Bel Air, 1962 Chevy Bel Air, 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang.
1 Year old Honda Fit-daily driver
1950 Pontiac Silver Streak (amazing condition- Trailer Queen) that sits in the garage until I have the money to fix the leaky transmission.
Dream car...I cannot complain at this point, however I would like a late 40's Ford Coupe or more out there....a Stanley Steamer like the one in the SOTH show
Well Truckman says it, I will start with daily driver 08 F250 weekend 03 F150 and the wife has 2010 milan. The daughter has 07 Jeep Wrangler then we get into 78 Corvette and a 1950 Chevy pickup in the restoration process. It is good to hear others with projects also.
2005 Chevrolet Cobalt... good on gas
Dream car - none just want to have one paid off
Favorite car of mine.....my 1997 Nissan Pickup XE, I drove that crud outta that thing, had it for over 10 years and only cost me about $7,000...then it slowly died on me!
I'm visually impaired, so don't drive, but I won a Red PT Cruiser and tell my husband where to go.We also have a Chev Cavalier for a workcar (gets 35-40 MPG) and an old Model T -5 window coupe that we are restoring....also a '69 Olds Cutlass 442.
I have a Model T as well-photo in a minute.....
A 1924' ,5 wondow was on my long list.... I had a kid that worked for me several years back who got one for free from an old man in the neighborhood (North St. Louis). The man knew he would never get back to anything with it, and the rats/ mice had chewed through many of the wires (what few there are in the Tin Lizzie. The body was fine, some of the wood was wearing away, but all good condition for 75+ yrs old. The boys had it runnning the afternoon they got it!
Here is my Model T...I think it needs some work....

A 2010 GMC Canyon pick-up. One fantasy of my wife and I is to get an older model Ford Mustang and drive the route the cattle drive took in the miniseries "Lonesome Dove". I'm not telling our other fantasies... ;)
Non descript Beige 2003 Ford Escape 4X4, and I love it.
Its a fun little vehicle without all kind of unneeded frills, no TVs, no
back up cam ( but those are kinda cool.
My ride is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD, and I love it. There are some things that need attention on it, but it runs good. Knock on wood. The wife drives a 2002 Sebring convertible, but I don't ever see her drive it with the top down. What's up with that??? I have a 1983 Kawasaki Spectre sitting in the back yard that I haven't ridden in more than ten years, shame on me. I wish I had money to get it fixed up and running again.

That belongs on the "It was running when I parked it!" page.
So sorry! Ours is a Model A-5 window coupe. We have all of the parts ....just need time and more money to work on it. My husband used to race dirt tracks in WI. in his younger years....raced Street Stocks, Super Stocks and IMCA/Wissota Mods. His favorite race cars were Fastback Mustangs with big blocks and Pintos for the Mods.
A green tram.....I cut up a card board box and painted it discount sea foam green and added suspenders and my son and I drive around the block askin people if they need a ride to their cars.......when your poor you just hafta do somethin to entertain yourselves. Also the green tram is a hit at the fish hatchery.
