Just wondering when the water rides open for the season? We have never been in march before and just wondering if the will be open. I can remember walking around soaking wet with teeth chattering on some pretty cold days in april but that never stopped us lol.
Yes
obviously temp has a great deal to do with it... here are the "Guidelines"

Yep about as cold as it has been this winter.... oh wait (we hit mid-40s again today) this past weekend we were in the upper 60s

Long range forecasts in these parts have been all over the place though. This winter they've been constantly changing things up even a few days in advance, so I wouldn't start guessing at what SB will be like just yet. Could get another one of those unusually warm and sunny weekends out of nowhere like last weekend.
We almost always go to SDC for Spring Break. I've been on days so cold the roller coasters didn't even open and I've been on days so warm my kids rode Lost River. There's just no predicting. Sometimes we had both in the same week.
Not going this year. Just not excited about the new offerings and decided to go elsewhere this year. We're headed South where hopefully we'll find some warm weather.
Rode lost river over thirty times in a row one year opening weekend no one in line. We went to the motel after changed clothes and came back. Fun times !
The last time we went for spring break it snowed! We had some neat pictures and the park to ourselves to walk around, but we only stayed for about an hour.
One year it was sleeting on our way to the park, but it warmed up a little after that. That was the year we were desperate to find gloves in Branson in March.
We've had some good visits for spring break, too, though. Those are just two memorable trips.
