Update, my wife and I took my daughter to the Butterfly Palace on October 27th and John Corbin Goldsberry now works there full time. I got to talk to him a bit and hear some interesting SDC park history.

While scrolling through YouTube tonight I found that John has a YouTube page and a new album coming out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCH1p7ua3WCKNijnxnFIu_nA

Unfortunately, it was through watching these videos that I found out that his wife Jan passed in November of last year. 🙁
