I always enjoyed checking the daily attendance log on here when we were planning a trip in the near future, and now I'm not finding one for 2021 at all?

Is there a way to find out how many 2019 season passes were sold? I know there are thousands of visitors without season tickets, but my family is curious how many season passes they sell every year

What kind of crowds should be expected mon & tues July 1&2?

Just wondering when the water rides open for the season? We have never been in march before and just wondering if the will be open. I can remember walking around soaking wet with teeth chattering on some pretty cold days in april but that never stopped us lol.

This is a little weird but its the only place that I thought I might find anything close to what im looking for. Everyone has those vivid childhood memories they will never forget.
When I was a kid, we camped every summer at sdc campground (now the wilderness campground) and one summer in the mid 1990s (I was young and my mom thinks it was 94 or 95) we were camping there in the tent section, roasting marshmellows and my little brother threw a handfull of the pea gravels into the fire and one popped out and hit him in the face, and there was a couple staying in a tiny barn/cabin directly across from us,  who rushed over to check on him. Turned out the lady was a nurse who worked for SDC and they were super nice people ovet the rest of that week they checked on my brother and visited with us quite a bit. I know its been over 20 years ago but I've never forgot them. Hoping someone on this site knows them, knows of them, or even better, if they happen to be on this site themselves.
Thanks to anyone who reads this  :)

Construction/Rumors / Re: Your Festival Ideas

now that the new festival has been announced, I hope the American theme is like a huge independence day theme like they do for Christmas and shoot fireworks every night....that would be awesome.

Riding it backwards was pretty awesome.

Yes.(unless your 9 years old and its the first coaster you have ever ridden and your already scared to death, then you dad thinks its funny to get on the backwards seat! but as a older kid,) Yes it was!! does anyone know why they removed the backwards seats?

I don't see many people with them but the gyser gulch ones are the best! they are only a little smaller and way cheaper to refill. my 09 mug says price listed at the stands... so whatever current refills go for

Not unless they are selling em in the candy shop. Now if this were expanded to include anything sweet.....

I was gonna ask if Chocolate covered strawberry's counted....but you answered that here....yes they sell them in the candy shop....it would be a tossup between those and the rocky road fudge :p

I rode the Giant Swing because my daughter likes it.

my dad made me ride it in july (the day it was raining so bad and 65 degrees) and that was my first and last time. ever. it was horrible. the rain just made it worse, lol, I would scream bloody murder and a few not so nice words going backwards, then going frontwards I squeezed my eyes and mouth shut to keep the rain out. the whole time thinking about the lady from SF getting thrown out (that's also why I coulnt fully enjoy OR)

Back in May, we went once and it had a fairly short line but then later in the day it was super long.

When we went in early August, it was about an hour and a half.

we went both of those times as well (may 15th-ish and july 19thit flooded us out that Friday and Saturday was sunny, mild & beyond packed)  our wait times were the same as yours. we are going last weekend in September hoping for good (short) lines....

The update on screamscape sure sounds bad saying men being turned away in droves and not fat ones but farmer/athletic builds. Size 36 waists a tight fit. Aback overreaction and I'll voice my displeasure loudly.

YES! I seen this one guy walking away saying "sucks to be fat" he was probably 6ft and 38" waist at most my brother is short (5'8" ish) and a 36 waist and he was still ok but barely.... and its not SDC who changed it, it was the manufacturer of the seats/restraints

I think it has to do with the bar across your shins closing in tighter or something, I know it fit different on my legs than it did on Friday.

we just got back from SDC yesterday we went Fri&Sat and Friday before it started raining to hard, we rode O.R. and no problems. Saturday when we went to get in line (2 hr. wait) there was a guy at the entrance with a seat from the ride having people sit in it, if the green light came on you were good, if the red light stayed on you were either too tall or your belly was too large. I asked the guy and he said it was the manufacturer had required a change in the seating restraints, they are not much different but enough different that some people who could once ride it now cannot, my dad being one of them :( I didn't see any posts about it so I thought I would let yall know. I asked the guy if it had to do with the Texas Giant accident and he said that he assumed it probably was. so for all the  bigger people they can diet and ride again some day, but for those who are too tall....nothing can be done :(

ETA: On a related note, my 7 y/o rode it for the first time, and now his new favorite ride is switched from PK to OR!!
