This gets money but the proposed indoor water park hotel with outdoor white water course gets pee'd on.

Are you referring to the one proposed by Westgate resorts?  Did that one get the ax or is it still going to happen?

I agree, the $50 price tag is a bit nuts but it isn't out on its own.  Using the Six Flags pricing that was mentioned earlier in the thread, I thought their $40 mug was insane so I bought multiple all day mugs for $15 each (free refills on day of purchase).  Then would buy a $6 dollar wrist band for all day refills on subsequent visits.  They got $51 out of me by the end of the season on that drink cup.  Should have just sprung for the $40 mug up front.

When I visit SDC, I'll bring my old n trusty mugs while they're still honoring those printed refill prices since those include specialty drink pricing.  I'm not sure if the $50 mug includes the delicious frozen lemonade refills.

Swoosh! Pretty sure you can buy the six flags season drink cups as a stand alone without having to buy the dining pass. Of course, if you want to buy the dining pass, a drink cup is included.

I think that it is a little over priced, and my family uses two of the mugs they sell now and we use them both frequently, but we normally refill ours at the pizza place that is next to the path to enter the farm area with Outlaw Run, you can get free refills because nobody watches at the Freestyle machines there to see if they went through to actually buy refill, so you can get away with free refills there. unless they increase the price of the refills or the price of the current mugs, I don't see any reason why we would get one. Also I'm new to the forum so hi everyone!

It's been awhile since this was posted, but it's a shame that the first contribution Darth made to this fan forum was about stealing drinks (but it's not stealing if they aren't watching).  It's always nice to have new members (I'm still new 'round here), just wish the first post would have been something better.

As far as the Six Flags all season refillable cups, they have theirs priced at $39.99 but offer a slight discount when purchasing in multiples.  SDC's pricing is somewhat on par with Six Flags.

That's actually pretty neat!  It's not a bad price either if it is the Super Pass version.  Use it more than twice and it's paid for itself.  The downside of course is how it could affect ride wait times for regular folk that don't have the Trailblazer pass.

Isn't this ON TOP of your season-pass? I don't see how it "pays for itself, if you use it more than twice."

It  would be a cost savings if you were to visit the park several times and buy one each time you went. Just like a season pass saves over purchasing several 1 day admissions. I don't see a problem if that's how you want to spend your money.

Exactly!  If you were to visit several times it would pay for itself versus buying a Trailblazer Pass each time you were at the park.  Just like buying a season pass saves money versus buying individual daily tickets several times a season.   Thanks, Runner!  I'm surprised others didn't see the potential cost savings through their hate of the "line cutter" passes.

I'm with Shave.  I would imagine a settlement would open a "pandora's box" so to say.  I can't figure out how this kid could sustain this type of injury and not scream out in pain or pass out.  Especially if he  “suffered intense and excruciating pain . . . sickness, nausea, and episodes of vomiting over the course of several days . . . "  It would have been immediate, it wouldn't have just crept up on him later.

I think this whole lawsuit is nuts.

I'm with mhguy77.  If someone provided me a gift that allowed me to save money on a ticket, I could use that money elsewhere.  If I was with my kids, they would be able to spend a little more on a souvenir to take home.  If it's just the missus and I, we may "splurge" on that unique handcrafted item or even just "pay it forward".

Thanks mhguy77 and sandunerider! I'll keep an eye out for your posts.

There ain't no shame in my game!  If someone asked me in front of my family if I wanted to get them in free, I'd take it.  Although I buy my tickets in advance instead of at the front gate.  If someone just happened to have two BAF's during An Old Time Christmas though, me and the missus would be more than happy to help you use them.  ;D

Thanks for the info.  I really appreciate it!

Anyone know if you can buy Trailblazer passes after 6pm during Moonlight Madness?  I'm wondering if I could buy a single day ticket, enter the park after 3 for the next day free.  Then use a trailblazer pass to knock out the rides with the longest lines and use the free day to enjoy the park.  I think during Moonlight Madness though, the next day free is if you enter after 6.

Thanks In Advance!

yes you can use the bring a friend vouchers early that day, and they can ride early with you....or at least that is what i was told when i called about 2 weeks ago to ask the same question......when in doubt always call!!!!!

I agree.  If the season pass holder has guests that are there with them using the guest vouchers, they would be able to ride early with the pass holder since they are there as guests of the pass holder.  I'd also agree with "when in doubt, call".

Thanks for the great pics and report, CaptainTom!  Awesome idea including the menu boards to show prices.

From one "newbie" to another, welcome to the forum!!   ;D

The area is begging for a Firefighter Chili Stand - How about a Chili Funnel Cake?

I think you're onto something!  How about a "Three Alarm Chili" chili stand?
