Construction/Rumors / Re: SDC's 2017 Project Part 2

Well, as I recall it being told from his great great great grandmammy Marie, old Percy set out in 1862 to seek gold in the Arizona territories and beyond but came back to the Ozarks sometime later penniless and with a taste for more than just dusky mestizo ladies.  So he set out to recreate from his likely hazy memory his favorite dishes from some of the many cantinas he visited during his time away.   He's hoping the locals enjoy his tales from the trail of hunting gold and more, just as much as they enjoy his take on the great King Montezuma's preferred cuisine.

Where are the ice slides going?   I sure miss Opryland.   I really enjoyed that park.  Im glad I got to ride Chaos before they closed.   It was a very pleasant surprise,  meaning I didn't even know what it was.  In fact we were headed towards the exit when we stumbled upon it.  I can't imagine going to a park so uninformed now.   Of course this was before the internet explosion. Screamin' Delta Demon is still the only bobsled coaster I've rode.   Good times.

White Water Discussion / Re: Tips for White Water

Why it's a place where the cabanas grow wild and are as thick and plentiful as the banana tree groves in Papua New Guinea. Probably right up to the fence around the wave pool.

It goes without saying we need a Cabanana Grove.

Ooops.  This has to be either a bad oversight or there's something more to it.  Im guessing the former.  I just can't imagine they ripped it off for no other reason than its a good name that they liked.   Now something more sinister, maybe. ..

It has a bit of a Frank Lloyd Wright feeling about it, does the waterfall.  Or at least Alex Jordan, no knock intended.

Maybe we can get Trump to back rolling back the ADA too, or at least grant an exception for historic theme park attractions, if that's what it takes to save Grandfathers Mansion.  A haunted house would be cool  too.  I'd go bat guano crazy for that, no joking.  A sweet ride-through Grandfathers Mansion replacement could free up the old space to be reutilized, hopefully with the exterior intact.  Don't get me wrong, I think 'funhouse' style attractions should be allowed to continue, and of course our beloved own Grandfathers Mansion.

I think it sounds funny.   "Suspiciously handcrafted,""all sales final", "no refunds."  Another crazy inventor in SDC.  It's like the 1880s' Silicon Valley.  They could have a live performer getting fed to an atrociously bad steam-powered "automalocomotive" lion.

But it absolutely should be self contained and hidden.  Besides, the theme would be blown otherwise. I'm excited for this.

Geez, whats next, are they gonna tear down Snow White's Castle?

Good job with the ghost text.  I'd never seen that technique used before to avoid a spoiler.  I peeked.  Thanks!

Yeah,  wow!  Then and now.  Looking good at 70.  Sadly,  Kenny passed away many years ago.  I'll never forget he was so excited and friendly when I met him.  I reckon that had to be the first tv star I'd ever encountered and was quite stunned.
