Instead of just replacing the train depot, what if they redid the whole layout of the train? Remove the tracks from the middle of the park and add to the tracks on the back side of the current layout. The train could become a much longer ride and also open up new land to development. A new depot would need to be built somewhere on the new layout, but the need to block off walkways could be removed. There could even be multiple depots to move people from one part of the park to another. Eventually, the train could link to a new resort or another entrance by a resort. There would be lots of possibilities with a new layout. They could also move the "round" house and open up that area for other development. If they keep expanding the park with the current track layout, they are going to have even more crosswalks with gates that need closed for trains. The Flooded Mine/current depot area could have major changes done without the train tracks in the way. Same thing over by the old Fire in the hole. Just a thought, however radical it might be.

A one bedroom unit has been spoken for. I still have another one bedroom unit and one four bedroom unit. The price mentioned above isn't per night. It is the cost for the entire week. I am just trying to cover the cost of the points I used to book this. If I cancel, I will lose the points.

Not sure if this is OK to post on here. If not, please feel free to delete.
I have 2 one bedroom units and 1 four bedroom unit available at the Branson Nantucket resort for the week of Dec. 24th to Dec 31st. I booked the units a year ago because I was going to lose the points and I thought someone I knew would use them. I would like $100 for the one bedroom units for the whole week and $300 for the 4 bedroom unit for the whole week. It isn't necessary to stay the entire week. I will also be staying at the resort that week. You will not have to listen to any timeshare presentations unless you want to. These units have kitchens and also bathrooms for each bedroom. Please respond to the post if interested and we can find a way to contact each other.

I have been following SDCfans for some time, but just registered today. I was at SDC last week, but wasn't able to see any of the development. I did get a facebook message from SDC showing a 2022 in the background and a baldnobber quote from FITH in the middle. Would this mean that the replacement might open later this year? In looking at where the current FITH is now and the condition of the Saloon, I think building a new Saloon where the current FITH is would be a better move than putting a new train station there. The current Saloon could then be replaced with a new train station. This would allow a much bigger Saloon that is fully disability compliant and much more room. There might have to be some re-grading done to the train track if it needs to be level at the train station, but I think there would be room for that.
