Quote from: Lampie on March 28, 2025, 05:59:44 PMInteresting. I've never seen the owner listed in GIS not be the actual owner of the property, but I do have minimal experience with GIS.  I learned something new today.

I'd be interested in learning more about the deal that brought that about if anyone knows. if anyone else is interested in this, the track is also leased from the city(and so is the imax theater)

My understanding is that the "Old Branson Airport" was located in the land where Ballparks is located (formerly the 'Red Roof Mall').  I am assuming that the land that White Water is on was also part of that.

Another fun fact, that many are aware of, Marvel Cave is actually owned by The College of the Ozarks and Branson Presbyterian Church, and leased by HFE.

I'm curious why you say it is leased. The county GIS shows whitewater land as owned by whitewater and the ballpark land owned by the ballparks of America.

Quote from: Swoosh on March 20, 2025, 10:18:21 PMYes the new waterpark is inevitable at this point.  I wonder if they'll send the existing slides from White Water to one of their newly acquired waterparks.  They'll have zero problems selling the land to Ballparks of America. They recently bought the old Rosebud Hotel that's right behind the employee parking lot of WW
