I must add to this topic. There's also a bench in the Train Depot that is supposed to raise. AFAIK it is still there. However I have never seen it in operation so I don't know if it still works or not.

Has anyone seen the raising bench in operation at the train depot?

No.  This is not correct.

See for yourself, it's the bench between the 3rd and 4th gate in the train depot. (The bench that only faces one side towards the 3rd loading area as the rth loading area does not have a bench) The bench is or was attached to hydraulic jacks, so I am assuming it could be raised or lowered. I don't know if I got a photo of it. If anyone has a photo of inside the platform you can verify if it's there or not anymore.

Another photo of the vertical track piece. Picture taken from the seating bowl at Echo Hallow.

Here the piece of track that has gone vertical I got as close as I could which is by the new Echo Hallow bathrooms.  I am watching Rick Skaggs tonight.

I can confirm track is on site.

One piece is already vertical and there's a few large hill bottom or inversion pices visable from the train ride.

The track is a triangle box style that is used by various manufacturers including Gerstlauer, Mack, and Intamin.

Hopefully this is not an Intamin because they only have OTSR on their new coasters rather or not it goes upsidedown and their OTSR are painful.

Does anyone know or tried going to Dollywood after 3pm to take advantage of the next day free offer using our SDC Season Pass half price discount?  I want to know if it works or not. I saw the offer on DW's website at http://www.dollywood.com/Deals/Special-Offers/After-3-Next-Day-Free and it says it works with single day admissions but ot does not list the restrictions so that is why I am asking. TY!

Well according to my sources.  The new engine numbers will be 504 and 14. The story of 504's numbering is the fact the person who owned the engine before SDC did loved that number and had the park agree to keep that number on it when they bought it. As for engine 14 the serial number on the engine is just 1 higher than 13 so because of this they are giving it the next number in line which is 14.

All this time I thought that they would keep with going with area highway numbers. I thought the engines would had been numbered 65 and 413. But nope they're going with the other numbers.

Now Swoosh will there be a way for wheelchairs and scooters to get down to stage level or will be dad still be stuck in the nosebleeds with no way to get a scooter down at the Echo Hallow in 07?

Can someone confirm that Ech Hallow is gonna be removed?  I heard denials of its removal on my park visit and stated that this attraction would go around it. Also besides the fact that there's no replacement for the Echo Hallow. Also SDC tends to advertise Final Year for big shows like this which they have not. Why wouldn't they advertise Final Year for the Echo Hallow show?

Sidenote, We stopped at ZDT's yesterday and rode switchback about 20 that's a fun GCI woody shuttle. The Track owners need to get down there and check that Lil bag of fun out. Lot's of fun for 20 bucks a head at that place.

Actually ZDT's Switchback is a Gravity Group creation with a Timberliner train. Not a GCI.

As for the Track on getting a coaster, Don't they have one at what I believe to be a Track Family Fun Center in Gulf Shores,  AL?

And to address the thread.  I have been told the ride has been delayed until 2018, can someone confirm this?

My guess on that foundation. It looks exactly like the old kiddie swing foundation in a new location so I am guessing the Kiddie Swing ride will be going there.

I have got lost on this topic on 2 acronyms. They are PTB and TGS. It's making it hard to read the topic when I don't know what those are. Please tell me what these 2 are so I can understand certain posts here. Pretty Please!

You need to poke Swoosh to upload his pics to MiG to see the pics of Crossroads Pizza. As for the food, they have been making the Pizzas bigger than advertised. The personal size was huge.

Well if you didn't make it out to the City Today. You missed out on riding Outlaw Run in the Snow. Also Outlaw Run was a walk on throughout the day. It closed about 4:30 PM due to cold. Here are some pics from Today:
