Well, on Sunday (03/24/19) I discovered one of the old Gandy Dancer carts still being used for flowers. You'll find it right across from the guest relations building before the park entrance.

I went Friday and Saturday (29th & 30th)... the park was pretty busy.

On Saturday night, Echo Hollow was packed. Someone said there were more than 4,000 in attendance! It was great... But then again, I'm a big Southern Gospel nut!

I have some footage of the concerts available on youtube... look for sgnut, and you'll find them!

The ring rumor is true. The jewelry shop near PowederKeg gives them out to newborns. They are the wire jewelry. Really neat and what a great souvenir!

Lets put it this way, I'm definitely going to be more observant, and see if I can find more things when I'm down there next time!

And if that is one of the carts from the Gandy Dancer, I wonder if there is any more used for decoration around the park...... hmmm.  ;)

Could it be one of the carts from the old Gandy Dancer??????

From: http://www.clubandresortbusiness.com/news/3179/resort-company-coming-to-ozarks.html

Wilderness in the Ozarks by Wilderness Resorts from Wisconsin will be part of a multi-million recreation and convention project by the Gage family in the city of Hollister.

Proposed amenities for the $250-million Wilderness in the Ozarks include four acres of outdoor pools, a 75,000-square-foot indoor water park featuring thrill rides, a wave pool, a lazy river, four large family tube rides, spray features and a variety of play areas for children.

This was also mentioned at ozarksfirst.com :

When finished, it will feature a four-story, 236 unit condominium complex, indoor water park and 7,500 seat event center.

Developers hope have the project done by mid-2009.

I have found a picture of my brother and I ridding a ride at SDC around 1986-1988. It was located behind the Carousel Barn, across the tracks from the Train Depot, near the old petting zoo (where the Carousel is today).

I can't remember the name of it. Anyone want to help me?
