I was on it twice today and if it has been slowed it isn't by much.
They still cant keep up with the load of the ride.  It takes them longer to load the car than it does for the other to run the entire route and sit behind waiting.

I don't think the issue is with the team.  I think it has to do with heavier patrons not checking the test seat.  Also those dang pesky seat belts take forever, not to mention dig into your leg.

They have added seat belts to OR, along with padded shin guards!  It takes a little longer to load with the seat belts, but I find it much more comfortable.  Forgive me if this topic has already been started.

Haha when I worked at TNT in 2012 as a welcoming to the ride the team would put that song on repeat and blare it! They made sure I knew the words to the song.

If I'm not mistaken I believe an employee of the park wrote the song for the ride.

I didn't fit in the left side but did on the right in the front.  In the back I fit in both.

Was this last weekend or this weekend? We are only planning two to three more trips to SDC this year, once to take my Brother and his family on a Sun after a Razorback game and again during OTC using our BOF. My Brother is 6'3 and 270 but runs 5Ks.

We need to keep a record  as to which seats settings are more forgiving than others, I love the back, so good news. Was it the very back row?

I didn't fit in the left side but did on the right in the front.  In the back I fit in both.

Saturday had a 6 inch difference, I couldn't ride. I was MAD.  Sunday however just had a 4 inch difference and I could.  The bar now goes to your thighs, not your middle. Some tall people, and bigger had to still get off.  I am just glad they are trying to keep us safe.  The ride operators on OR are some of the most attentive in the park. I am 5'9 1/2 and 235.  Again, I stress it is ALL just for safety, no one wants a repeat of the incident at Six Flags.  This was the manufacturer's decision, not SDC's.  I know the ride operators are just as frustrated.  They've been cussed at and spit on.  I promise they are doing everything they can to fix this to everyone's liking.  In the mean time, it's salads for me.  I've ridden OR 80 times and I'm not about to stop now.

Unfortunately, they do take advantage of it.  I've been in the handicapped line when a dozen people showed up with a person on crutches wanting all of them to ride together.  Yes, a few should be able to ride together - that's half the fun - but not a dozen people!

I even feel bad because I'm not disabled, but I like getting to ride with her.  Some people are just twisted.

My daughter requires a disability pass.  What ever time others have to wait in line, that is our time too.  We go to a ride operator and they'll give us a time to come back.  SDC is really good about helping us out.  I can't believe someone would take advantage of another's misfortune.

Utilization of the old Wilderness Waterboggan area I'll bet.

Thanks for the responses I am thinking I might go with the season passes. All the water rides at sdc will be operating in May?

I've been the last three weekends and they were already all open, I've ridden them all already.

Went to Dogpatch as a kid, saw some videos on YouTube.  I have a bunch of memoribilia from there!
