I think having more period characters is needed in the park year round.  It seems as a kid, everytime you turned around, you would see some characters/street troupe entertaining and mingling among the visitors.  Tom and Huck characters would be great!

The idea of period games is right on.  Not sure what all type it would be, but anything besides sand!

I enjoyed the dog show, but never got the chance to see the magician.

Do the people in SDC who make craft items actually work for SDC or just rent space from them and make their money from their crafts?

Ok, is my memory bad or am I just crazy??  It seems that on this ride that you use to go up the incline and ride around a little while before you actually went down the drop.  Am I confused or did it use to be this way at one time in the past??

Watching the veteran's parade and flag raising at the park opening and the homestead area.  I love going and walking behind the cabins and seeing and petting the animals.  I also love sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair on a nice cool day.  Then in the winter the best place is inside the cabin warmed by the fireplace listening to the homestead pickers sing Christmas Carols drinking hot apple cider or hot chocolate!
