I appreciate that link mg. That is actually what brought me here. I don't see free kid passes listed there but I never saw it before either. A buddy of mine got them free over Memorial weekend but I wonder if that will end 13JUN.

Hello SDC fans,
I see the price of season passes increased by 30%, does anybody know if military dependents still get in free?   Has the price of tickets affected the crowds at all?

Thanks in advance.

I may just have to retire early and go up there and help them out. The kids will just have to eat less

I went to the festival of wonder and they only had one blacksmith and he was only demonstrating A few times a day. He said the other smith was gone. Anybody know whats going on?  Are they short handed or is this the new reality I have to live in?

I haven't seen any trip reports about the past couple weekends with all the rain in the forcast. Has attendance been down?  Is the cave still open?  Thanks

Anybody there this Memorial weekend?  Is the 20% chance of rain enough to keep the crowds away?

No reliable source has this as a Arab man. Also, the phones were not purchased all at one place. It was several different locations in Missouri by different people. This just shows how  social media blows everything up with untruths.

And for the record I could care less how many phones someone buys. None of the governments business.

Fox news said "arab man" today.

People buy go-phones in bulk all the time to send overseas for a huge mark up. I don't understand how anyone could possibly think that could be related to terrorism.

Propane tanks get stolen all the time, just like everything else. You ever try carrying a full one? You think a terrorist is going to be able to lug one into SDC, and then figure out a way to actually make it explode? Get real.

Everything is a soft target, and the whole point of terrorism is to make you scared to do anything. Besides, we already have plenty of nuts running around with guns to be afraid of anyway.

No I figured they would load the propane tanks in a car and blow them up by a packed bus stop.

You may have heard the news that the FBI is investigating an arab man that purchased 200 go phones from walmart in MO. At the same time and area many propane tanks were stolen. Is anybody worried about Branson/sdc?  Seems like we would make a great big soft target.

Random Talk / Re: Naturist sdc fans

That dosen't make you a naturist. Sorry for the confusion everybody.  I guess what I am asking is does anybody believe their body was designed and created to live like adam and eve, in a perfect environment like the garden of eden?  And when you're away from the population and see a parts of God's creation as beautiful as the ozarks on a nice sunny day, do you have a desire to uncover that body that was created in God's image and get really natural and walk around and pick some berries and be a part of that creation.   Or is that just me?

That is what it means, I was just trying to save any unsuspecting people from seeing somthing they don't want to see. But now that the cat is out of the bag, I know there are a lot of SDC fans that are Christians, and I know there is a large section of the naturist crowd that is Christian. I was just thinking I can't be the only wierdo thats out there. Anybody?
