SDC Memories/ Park History / Re: TNT Theme Music
March 21, 2014, 06:39:29 PM
Haha when I worked at TNT in 2012 as a welcoming to the ride the team would put that song on repeat and blare it! They made sure I knew the words to the song.

If I'm not mistaken I believe an employee of the park wrote the song for the ride.

"Thunderation!
Gonna take you for a ride
Thunderation!
With your bestfriend by your side.
Thunderation!
Gonna take you round and round
And then bring you way up! And bring you down!

Keep the stories coming guys I love hearing them!
Junior the story about the bullet reminds me of something I do everyonce in awhile at work.
I would take the tops of acorns and show kids and adults how to whistle with an acorn. I would then give them the acorn top.
Such a simple momento but fun memories.

Now I have already talked to some people about some entertainment the park would do at the city and I would love to hear some more memories from others.
I recall someone telling me about skits in front of the train station and also a man had a bear cub with a muzzle and you were able to pet the bear. Not sure sure if the bear is true but lets hear some fun stuff that used to happen.

One of my favorites is the pig calling contest for a free bag of pork rinds. Seeing city folk try to call a pig compared to a pig farmer. Priceless!

I wish CC wasn't closed down because I had such fond memories of the place.
But I would love to see a zoo/aquarium. Branson currently has two zoo type buildings but the prices of the quality you get are just not right.

But I do trust HFEC will utilize the left over land to good use.

Yep! Y'all get excited for a little more extra time to ride your favorite attractions in the dark...especially Outlaw Run.

The lockers actually were put in to cut down on the wait time. We found out they cut down the wait time by 20% and are great for busy days.

TNT can be a very popular when I was working on it we would run 1000+ people in an hour.

I have a lot of trust in the HFEC and I believe they will not let us down on the 2015 project. But in the mean time let's enjoy the other rides and Outlaw Run is still very new with a whole lot of excitement still left.

Ya those pesky outlaws keep stopping our stagecoaches! But don't you worry our stagehands are quick on the draw to run them out of the hills and continue the journey out west.

Well I can't tell you exactly what's been the culprit.
