I have never been to sdc. Normally my family and I, (wife 3 kids ages 10,8,6) go to Disney. However I don't think we can afford that this year so considering sdc. Some questions I have:
1) what are crowds like in early August? like how long is the wait for your basic attraction. We would go during the week.m
2) what do meals cost? Specifically kids meals.
3) is there enough to do and see there to warrant 3 days at the park?
4) What is the feel there? By that I mean is it like Disney, or like six flags?

Any advice from veterans would be greatly appreciated.
