Branson Talk / Re: Baldknobber The Movie - Trailor

The whole Baldknobbers story is very interesting. I think Harold Bell Wright did it best, but there's always a new generation to learn our history, the good and the bad.

The art is superb, however, I like the buildings and site which are totally awesome. The l wood beams made from native timber are well done. The thought processes put into the landscaping are very well executed.

Branson Talk / Re: Trolleys gone from the Landing
April 01, 2014, 11:15:50 PM
The Trolley was a real danger. If they could have kept the drivers to a safe speed and just ringing the bell rather than honking the horn as they sped toward the folks who foolishly thought it was safe to walk down the Promenade with their small children, they might have avoided some of the complaints and lawsuits. The Trolley would have been a nice addition to an atmosphere of outdoor shopping and entertainment. But that just didn't happen.
Instead we now see a little train that rolls slowly, offends nobody and has a huge number of people willing to pay the $5 ea for their children as well as themselves to make the round trip ride.

Branson Talk / Re: Shepherd of the Hills Play Closing
April 01, 2014, 10:41:39 PM
I just saw Shepherd of the Hills two years ago. I heard about it years ago but had never gone. Glad I did before it closed. My mom always raved about the Passion Play but I never saw that. I saw a similar one in Branson that also started with a P but I can't remember the name. Had live animals like the Passion Play but was inside...I personally love outdoor plays, concerts, etc.
