I've never been on opening day. Is it usually crazy busy? I'm assuming no, since it's a Tuesday, right? I'd love feedback on what attendance has been like on opening day in the past, as I don't want to make the 2 hour drive there just to deal with a madhouse.

That quote doesn't say anything about a coaster. It just says there are rides coming in 2015 that coaster enthusiasts will be happy about.
Swoosh (who seems to be very in the know) has said a new coaster won't happen till at least 2016. He also indicated it'll either be a launch coaster (like Firechaser Express at Dollywood) or a winged coaster (like Wild Eagle at Dollywood). I would hope for something like Wild Eagle, since we already have a launched coaster.

Also, I really enjoyed being redirected to your site because I got to read the great reviews of Dollywood and The Alpine Coaster. I'm headed to Gatlinburg on Monday, so I loved getting a preview of those two activities.
