O.K.  A new sign...  Freshly painted fence... I'm gonna say River Blast.
In His grip!

On the fence in the Wilsons farm area.

Candy shop.

Which candy shop though? Brown's Candy Factory, or Phoebe Snapp Taffy?

I'm just teasing. :D You are correct however, this is on the blue fence just outside of the Brown's Candy Factory. It sits just below a giant sign that reads "Brown's Candy. Sold at most general stores."

Zephon

It's at the gate leading to First Aid, by Brown's Candy Factory.

Blue Fence/ First Aid area it is. Ozark BBQ pegged it, Zephon named it, I am going to go out on a limb and award 1/2 credit to each-I don't wanna start any competitive problems, or any overly lengthy descriptions in future items (ie: The 9 ft pine blue painted fence with 1/8" gaps held together with standard nails facing South East that lies between the North side of Flossie's Fried Fancies and the South side of Brown's Candy Factory-The fence is just off from the main promenade past.......) You get it...it is all in good fun.

The Up-to-Datiest Score so Fer:
Ozark BBQ 4.5
oklaSDCfan 2
Orient Express 2
Junior 2
tinaalsgirl 2
SteamFreak 1
DalesDaMan3 1
HistoryBuff 1
Coaster 1
tinmann620 1
pintrader 1
Zalo9 1
Twinsmom98 1
Zephon .5

While I appreciate the courtesy, you can give Zephon the whole point since he technically said it first. This is like the T.V. show "Whose Line Is it Anyway?" where everyone wins, and the points don't matter.  ;D

Unless there is a prize at the end that no one has told me about? :P

Yes you do get something Ozark! A free tour of Marvel Cave A free sample of peanut brittle from Brown's candy factory, a free piece of taffy from Phoebe Snapp's, a free sample of honey, a free sample of apple butter, hand sanitizer and free rides on SDC's world famous coasters!(all with paid admission of course!)

Ozark Outlaw

Mmm you had me convinced already at peanut brittle....  :D

Since I didn't get credit on the last one (even though I was with in feet of the correct answer), I am asking for a re-ruling on #19.  That sign IS NOT on the pavilon barn.

rubedugans

Thanks Zalo I will indeed check it this weekend. My memory -which sometimes is like a peach(fuzzy) serves me that this is on the side of the pavilion that faces echo hollow. You pass this sign while walking towards the red/gold heritage area/ grand exposition....But as I said I will double check for you, and I need to start writing some down as I take them, as to I don't forget them before usin' them!

Zephon

Yippee...I'm on the board with 1/2 of a point.  I guess you would think that because I work there, I should know where all this stuff is, but the truth is, I walk from the parking lot to my place of work and back, or from my place of work to the employees lounge and back.  I don't really walk around the park all that much and on the rare occasion that I do, it's usually point to point, with a singular purpose in mind.  I don't wander around looking at stuff very much at all, so I really have no clue on most of these pictures.  I just happened to know this one because I go through that gate almost every day.  Nevertheless, I do look at all the pictures that you guys post on the off chance that one of them might stick in my mind.  Most of the time there's five or six guesses before I ever get a look at them.  I'll keep trying though...I'm in it for the fun.

Taking a wild guess...is this on what was known as the candy and cream shop located in the Riverfront? This building, currently used for some type of food service...snacks, ice cream, or something, would be located directly across the street from RiverBlast.  If this is one of those signs posted in SDC to honor a long time employee, I remember a Pauline working with me in foods in 1979...maybe it's to honor her.
