i have heard a rumor that some type of bat virus has shut down several caves recently and was wondering if anyone knows if this is true?  if so, will it or has it effected marvel cave?

I heard about White-Nose Syndrome when we visited War Eagle Cavern, last month.  Nothing was said about closing the cave though.

The virus is bad enough that the park officials at Devil's Den State Park and at the Buffalo National River in Arkansas have shut down all caves for the time being.

They warn people at Marvel Cave and ask people who have visited certain caves not to go into the cave.
