I just saw that they are having a  sneek preview for christmas, friday evening starting at 5:00.

Tickets r 40.00 going to the "care for kids" program..

my question is does anybody know if our passes r good? or is this a 100% money raising event?

hmm...Seems to me like the Run for the lights...money goes to a good cause more than likely...that, or the electric bill.

I would love to see the side by side comparison of the electric bill for Nov/ Dec of Branson-vs- SDC...I think I know whose is higher! I can only imagine the number of fuses and power strips/ surge protectors that must be used!

Why do you think the late season passes are always so much more expensive than the preseason passes? They have to get ready for the end of the year light bill! ;D

I am just teasing of course. However, I imagine with all of the water rides shut down, that probably balances the budget out a little bit.

This is a very good point! Unless it was a rare car, would you pay thousands of dollars more for a 5 year old car with 100,000 miles on it than you would for a brand new car of the same make and model that includes three tanks of gas?

I would imagine that most people would not. Why then, would SDC charge over $20 more for the season pass when the life of the pass is almost over, when a pass can be bought early in the year with 3 BAF coupons!? I understand that "early bird" is a promotion, but come on folks! A bigger question is...why would anybody pay the $98.88!? You would think that, like the car, the season pass would depreciate! I guess season passes are more like wine than cars, they become more valuable with age ???

Nate, this late in the year they are more of a "supply and demand" purchase..  for instance, "gee honey, lets go down for the fall festival for a couple of days", or "drive down sunday and we will go back for christmas"...  2 maybe 3 days...  pass is cheaper!  i think it is an impulse thing at this point. and the SDC management know it.
