I was picking up my sister from winterguard practice today as the choir director was leaving the school. She came up to the car and said, "Did you still want to know about the show choir trip?"
I said, "Yeah."
She said, "Well, we're doing SDC Dec 2, so if you still have your season pass..."
I said, "Trust me, I still have my pass!!"
She kinda rolled her eyes and smiled. "Yeah, I thought you would!"

Lol, she knows me too well!

So I guess I'm going Dec 2! I'm gonna hang out with my friends, but if I have to, I'm ditching them for a little while to watch A Dicken's Christmas Carol because last time I was there with choir, we had to ride PowderKeg 28hundred times, thanks to Robby and not one person cared about my musical theatre needs!

Just a note. IF you make it to branson for OTC, and really want to expierence christmas...  Ride the ducks!..

they go up the mountian, talk to santa and grandpa (reminds me of the frisco train), stop at dewey center for cocoa, and u get to see lights..  lasts about 1 1/2 hours, we went last year, and hope to do it again.

Sanddunerunner,

Please tell me more!  What time did you go?  Dusk?  Would a wiggly toddler make it?  She rides the train at SDC, and she is fine until the train stops.  We're out in the woods, and she thinks it's time to get off the train.  She squirms and wiggles until the trains starts up again.  I'm one of the people on the train thinking "hurry up and find Ma already so we can get moving!"

It sounds like great fun, but I wonder if we are ready for it as a family.  We plan on going the 2nd weekend in Dec.

little ones should be ok..  the ride does stop twice for a few minutes, just like the train.

All of the christmas ride leave at 5:30 or 6:30 pm..  That way you can see the lights on the way..

give it a try stacey, i dont think you will be dissapointed.

Destination SDC

Season Passes - Check, Reservations made - Check, Mentally ready - Check, ;  Now I just have to wait until the last week of the year to get there. - I don't think I can wait that long!!!!

Do you know if we still get the season pass discount on those rides?
