Just a heads up: Aunt Molly's Quilt shop over by the train depot is leaving. It simply wasn't popular/profitable enough. It was a unique little place though, so I hope whatever replaces it carries the same charm.

I loved browsing that shop.  Sad to see it go. :'(

That would be the Problem.  To many people browsing that shop and not buying.  I will admit I have been in there also but the problem I had was that most of the Quilts in there were not hand made.

I thought about that after I posted.  I only browsed, never bought.

Same here, I have been in, yet never bought much, if anything. With that location now vacant, and the former Basketry cabin open, anyone want to take a random guess at what they might put in?

Same as all of you. Browsed not bought. I still hate to see shops leave the park though.

I remember Van Horn's Mercantile, and how that did not last all that long on the square. It had location, but apparently not the right goods for the park. The main goods will still be sold, but somewhere else in the park, and At least we can be pretty sure the workers will be moved elsewhere in the park. It is a bit exciting to wonder what could come next though...

Ok..   So the Quilt shop left town and the basket shop moved..   Why have they not filled these buildings with anything.  I seems weird to me to have these buildings that could be bringing in revenu to the park just sitting.
