Well, we had a thread about Halloween...another on Christmas...so why not Thanksgiving? What are everyone's plans for that holiday? Anyone going to Branson during this period? How about BLACK FRIDAY for shopping the day after Thanksgiving? Anyone like to get out at the crack of dawn, eat a turkey sandwich, and then go shopping that Friday morning? The computer I'm using now was bought on Black Friday last year!

My fiance would like to go back one more time this year, so I will have to see how it goes. My birthday is the 25th (Thanksgiving Day) so I think that would be an awesome birthday present.

Thanksgiving Lunch with the family and then up to Kansas City for the lights at The Plaza...It rivals SDC for number of lights, but I think SDC still wins I will sleep in on Black Friday. To get the really good deals in Springfield you pretty much have to camp in a parking lot. There were 37 tents and 5 campers outside Best Buy last year. It ain't worth it.

that tent thing and camping out to go shopping? dont get it.. ,  BUT back to the topic, plans r for us to drive down sat afternoon after thanksgiving, got a show in branson sat nite, then SDC sunday for festivities, x-mas tree and see the lights..  then back to branson for more lights!!! also will be there monday and tuesday for other shows and lights!!! should be agreat 4 days!

Have in laws that are going to SDC (maybe I can stow-away with them) My family competes for us as dinner guests, So I will go to a dinner at one family, and dessert at another, and still be scolded for not spening enough time with either. We always say it would be easier if we were just selfish an went out of town! SDC would definately be the destination.

No plans of where yet. Just get together with immediate family members, eat - have fun - & watch some football. Pretty normal.

So I had this crazy idea since I ate a little too much during my Branson vacation that I should go on a diet. So I will be dieting all through the holidays this year.

Bringing my roommate with me to spend Thanksgiving with family up in Independence. Gonna go to the Christmas in the Sky fireworks show at Longview Lake the night before Thanksgiving. Can't wait!

Going to my Sister-In-Laws for Dinner in Marshfield  and the straight to the condo outside SDC.
