I am not a gamer but years ago I was introduced to Roller Coaster Tycoon, they have since updated the game with the last version being RCT3.  I had some time and put this ride together.  The new version allows you to " ride" the ride I thought I would share this with you.  They don't have SDC type theming although they had western and that's as close as I could get to SDC.  See what you think, its a fun game for up theme park addicts.  You choose the ride type, you build the track in whatever way you want as long as it follows the rules of physics.  You insert all the theme elements, trees rocks, buildings.  You basically start with a flat grassy surface and the rest is up to you.

Dewey,  I DID NOT do the FITH recreation. But I did find on Youtube.!  Therfore i will tak partial credit!..  LOL

But it is a great video,  hard to believe somebody could that close on a puter.

That FITH is a great rendition, sound effects and all.
I was unpressed by that.  Its a fun game as you can add music and all, you actually "film" the ride and the game lets you point the camera and move it so shots like the sweeping areal views from my vid are possible.
If you are interested message me and I will let you know what add ons to get for the game itself to be able to do this.
Its a cheap game and the add on pacs are free.
But it does eat up a lot of your time.   ;D

I played RCT3 for awhile and was even involved on the Atari forums for awhile. I never posted any of my work because it would've got bashed big time, I wasn't near as good and didn't have the time to devote to it like other people did. I was mainly just a lurker and I enjoyed viewing everyone's parks and rides. However, I eventually lost interest because those forums just had too many rules and many of the members were very rude and/or immature.

Thank God it isn't like that here at SDCFans!

Coaster, you should totally check out shyguysworld.com. It's an awesome forum with a lot of the best members from the Atari forums who bailed because of all the rules and the rudeness/immaturity.

theres no place like home (sdcfans)

^^I might have to do that. I remember shyguy well. His stuff was amazing! I was so jealous of a lot of people's work on that forum. I always wanted to recreate SDC but it is just way too detailed for a computer game. Could never do it justice.
