best western closest to the City is nice, yet a bit pricey. They do have a great breakfast on the otherhand. I enjoy their indoor pool due to having a wading pool and a big kid pool....the rooms are clean.

That's where we usually stay. Last time we were there, a lady at the desk said we looked familiar :)

I used to stay there all the time, I really enjoyed hearing the train in the morning.  But they really are high in compairison with Page at the Homestay. I prefer to stay with those that support my interests so its Homestay for me.

best western does have an excellent breakfast... lots of stuff, and the indoor pool is nice..

Honeysuckle also has a very nice brekfast , but the indoor pool is not quite as nice.

If you like to do you own cooking as much as you can, try Bavarian village. they have small cabins with kitchenetts and are 5 minutes from SDC. Last time I checke the small cabins were about 50 per nite..

Yes, their breakfast was quite extensive, and I was glad of the elevator when we had so much luggage to carry.  Not sure it's worth double the rate, but at least the drive is SHORT.

Its really hard to beat Paige's rate when they're open. We usually camp when we go but it's cheaper per nite at Homestay than some of the nicer campgrounds.
