What if.....They randomly place ornaments in actual trees throughout the park for people to find!   It's THEMING!

You may be on to something! Silver Dollar City could create a "Find the Ornament" contest where they take like one hundred ornaments, and hide them throughout the park. They could hide them in a bush, or on a windowsill, or hanging from a wind chime, or wherever.

Hopefully that would be all that people would take off the trees...makes me think that someone would somehow end up with a tree at home covered with HUGE red and green ornaments!
