So... worst came to worst, and Angel now really is an angel.  :'(
My dad let her roam free the other night and she never came home. My mom was on her way home from work and she noticed someone carrying a white cat into their house. As far as we know, our cat was the only white one on our road. So my dad and sister went to that person's house to see if that cat was ours, and I don't know exactly what happened, but they buried her when they got home.

I'm sorry, that's awful.

We have two indoor/outdoor cats. Cisco is 14, and comes in for food and love, but mostly prefers to be outside unless it's too hot or too cold. He's perfectly at ease inside or out, and loves all dogs and people.

DC is about 8, and was a feral kitten found in a ditch that we raised from about 4 weeks. He's a big gorgeous domestic long-hair in the cool months, and the rangiest mangiest nastiest beast you've ever seen in the summer. In the winter he has a full luxurious coat and loves coming inside to sit by the fire, but from the moment he starts shedding he's gone like a shot. He comes into the garage to eat, but only into the house if he's willing to let someone carry him (not often).

Both our outdoor boys have had plenty of misadventures, and are using up borrowed lives. Because of that, when two more cats came into our lives, the girls decided they would be strictly indoor cats.

First came Shiny, and she was gorgeous. Then we discovered she was a he (as I'd told the girls all along), and his personality (calm and distinguished looking on the outside, but constantly griping and moaning) prompted a name change to Shifu, like the Kung Fu Panda character. Shiny/Shifu makes DC look like a slacker when it comes to growing a long luxurious coat.

Then there's Sid, who we bottle-fed from a week old after he was found by one of my co-workers. There was some construction going on next door to them, and Momma Cat lit out with all the kits she could carry, but Sid got left behind. She was the best feral momma cat you've ever seen, though. He was clean and slick and his eyes were clear and bright.

Sid looks like a bengal tabby crossed with an Egyptian Sphynx or Siamese. He has that distinctive skinny build and super-long skinny tail that waves three different directions before it gets to the tip. He gives new meaning to "short" in short haired breeds.

I'm very sorry about your kitty, Tiff. I know it doesn't make you feel better, but the world is full of kittens who need rescuing. All four of ours were strays or rescues.

sorry to heat that Tiff.  :(

We are animal lovers for sure, with 2 indoor/outdoor cats, AND our 3 housebroken Labs.. ;D

But when we lose 1 it is always a very sad day :'( :'(, And unfortunately as a person grows up and loves their pets their a lots of day like that. Just remember the Happiness they bring you day to day.. ;D ;D

And we always adopt, Seems to me the adopted pet loves being saved and gives love/happiness back to you trifold!
