I was wondering if anyone...especially our current insiders...have heard anything on the status of the treehouse? Zephon, Copper...are you out there? Could they put together the funds to build a new and improved treehouse that would meet all handicapped standards? I think they could. If there is a will, there is a way. What do you think?

I heard they surveyed the area recently...what for I haven't a clue.

They are going to leave it as it is until they are forced to take it down due to insurance and the likelihood that it is going to fall over.  I think the surveying was  so that they could add another wench or two to it.  It will never reopen and it is too costly to take it down until they are forced to take it down.

That is sad information. It is one of those icons at the park. I would love to see things refitted and opened up again.
