I just wanted to know about the really tall guy who currently plays the character of "Shorty" & how long has he been a citizen of SDC. Have there been others who played this character & I've also seen him double as The SDC undertaker. Is he a member of this forum?
I ain't got no pants no more! The Dang Baldknobbers stole'em!

Junior

No idea on this. I've seen him on park for several years now. Might be good to contact Terry Sanders at his Homer Lee Website and ask him. Terry usually responds to questions from fans very quickly.
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

sanddunerider

he goes by the name "shorty Hatfield" on facebook,

and has been at the city since '97

rubedugans

I believe I have seen him wear a large "NCAA" style ring at some point. I assume basketball???

Ozarks Gal

I thought I remembered him being there from when I was a kid/younger. (Last year after the Hatfields & McCoy's miniseries aired on History he threw a funny line into the Fued performance on Main Street about it.)
"Red Flanders, you come back in here and put on your pants!" "Well Sadie, I ain't got no pants no more. The dang Baldknobbers stole 'em!"

Gilligan

Not a good photo, but it was fun watching him dance with the crowed during Moonlight Madness a couple of years ago.

He has been there for awhile now.  Always glad to see him back.  The first time we saw him, probably 97, he was playing an undertaker and it was great.  I believe my dad once asked him if he ever played basketball, and he said he did in college.
Small wonder our lives have so little of God in them, when we come in touch with so little that God has made.
