He is my plan for Silver Dollar City. Area A would be 1st connecting Wildfire to Powderkeg. This area would have a StarFlyer Swing ride, a new covered outdoor theatre for the Homestead Pickers and a new covered food stand. The Theatre would have rocking chairs and have a large fire pit. Area B would be next and would repurpose the Old FITH building as the new Silver Dollar Saloon. Tripling the size of the old theatre this would include a full service restaurant. The new attraction would be a flying theatre which would be themed to flying over the Ozarks. Also included would be a large covered Midway games area. Area C would be last and would include a Vekoma Family Coaster like BIG Bear at Dollywood named the Sherriff. It would interact with Outlaw Run. Also in the area would be the Grand Carousel, a Bumper Car Pavilion another coffee/bakery, large souvenir stand and restroom. It would also have a second station for the train and second entrance for the park. The second entrance would be for resort guests only and the park and resort would be connect by an access road which resort guests would ride "coaches" to and from the park. What do you think??

^ Some of your ideas are good; some are getting out of the theme of an 1880s theme park.  Bumper cars?  God forbid another Midway game.  But the Sheriff coaster is not a bad idea.  A full service restaurant would be nice.

Yes, Bumper Cars themed to buffalos. It is a great indoor attraction which which is weather proof. This is much needed in the park as most attractions are outside. I love a good bumper car ride.

^ I still disagree. We just had the Arkansas State Fair.  You can ride bumper cars there. I don't want them at Silver Dollar City. Just my opinion.

I agree too. The last thing SDC needs is more carnival type attractions. Leave out the midway games also. No need to six flags it up more than it is. As for the relocation of the pickers , the quaintness and interaction would be gone putting them in a large area. FITH hole building is shot and there is no saving that moldy thing. There is a reason it was shut down.

Bumper cars are not a "Carnival attraction" and they have them at many parks including Dollywood. It doesn't need to be the pickers at the theatre. I picture the theatre like sitting around a campfire. It would be a theatre in the round. As for the the old FITH if the building is not useable then you can tear it down and build a new one. A enlarged two-story saloon dinner show would be great.

^ I don't want SDC to turn into Dollywood.  I fully agree SDC needs more indoor attractions but I don't think Bumper Cars should be one of them.  Below is a concept the park had considered doing from a survey done in 2011.  I think this would be a great indoor ride.

Stagecoaster: A team of horses idle between two stagecoaches. Choose your mount and strap into the saddle. Your horse suddenly takes off and you are off at a furious pace, hunched close to the ground. Your pace seems even faster as the landscape whips past you at breakneck pace. As you ride the coaster, swerving left and right, you follow tight curves as canyon walls flash past you, closely hugging hills and gullies, bounding through gulches with the rest of your team. The coaster ride is fast & furious filled with hairpin turns and narrow escapes and despite the urgency of your ride, you find the experience surprisingly exhilarating!

Every traveling carnival and six flags has bumper cars. As for Dollywood and other parks, I have no desire for SDC to remotely resemble them. I went into Pumpkin plaza last weekend and thought "I hope this is not the future !!!

We love Dollywood, but the area of the park with the bumper cars is so out of place and we actually didn't even venture over there this last trip. Maybe, and its a huge maybe, if they were super well themed cars and setting, had a great queue area, and were inside where you couldn't see them from outside they could possibly fit, but it would be very hard to not make them be just a low quality carnival attraction compared to everything else in the park.

Reminds me of a Steeplecase ride like at Cedar Point.

Im thinking Duelist is thinking more in line of a coaster similar to Hagrads Motor Bikes at Universal. That's the way I took the survey when I took it.

Here is my 1st big expansion for the park. It would be placed in the Old Fire in the hole building to save money, or just tear down the building but that would take longer. It checks all the boxes. Family thrill ride, indoor attraction which can run in any weather and can be updated by changing the movie. For most of the year would run a movie "Soaring Over the Ozarks" as
someone created a Flying Carriage and during Christmas it could have Santa Sleighride experience. It is a new kind of motion theatre. I was at the park last week in the rain and much of the rides were down. This would always be open. Also this side of the park needs an attraction as if Powder Keg is down there is nothing to draw guests,Intamin Motion Theatre link

I'd love something like that... maybe for harvest fest a bat journey and you join the bats flying out of marvel cave.
