Went to the park for a few hours on Sunday 9/25. As we were preparing to load the tram to leave around 2 or so, a man fell to the ground and about 4 or 5 tram personnel were trying to attend to him and direct people away from walking by him. Not sure if the man had a seizure or fainted. He was propped up in a seated position and was totally unresponsive. The employees kept repeatedly calling on the radio for first aid help. The tram waited for about 10 minutes and finally pulled out. When we left there were still no medics on the scene, and the 2 tram personnel with the man seemed calm but frustrated. I hope the man is okay because he really looked bad. People on the tram were praying for him.

Wow!  That length of time for emergency response is scary!  Last fall, a guest was in front of glass blowers shop and I believe had a seizure and was bleeding.  There were a few emergency responders helping this person.  The problem was clearing the crowd away to move this person.  So many people on the walkway and people were pushing each other forward when the traffic stop.  The pushing wasn't intentional, but the crowd came to a standstill, and most of us were unsure why until the crowd moved forward a bit.  Scary situation!  Hope that man is okay.

That's pretty unacceptable and a lawsuit waiting to happen...

Since I haven't read anything online about someone dying at SDC that day, I presume the man got medical help and he is okay. From seeing the man's face, I was really worried about his survival.

EMS personnel were performing CPR on the man when I walked by, giving chest compressions.  One ambulance and two sheriff's vehicles were there.

Thanks for the update. We were really surprised that no SDC medics were on hand during the time we were there because it is not that far from first aid to the entrance plaza. We just thought within 10 minutes someone would show up to help the tram personnel who were attending to the man.
