Digging through my scrapbooks, I came up with eight old postcard shots of Silver Dollar City and Shepherd of the Hills Farm. They are on my Flickr account along with groupings of shots of 1) diving bell  2)Hee Haw Theater Branson  3)Jim Owens' Float Trip Ride 4) Celebration City Garage Sale

you will find the postcard shots at:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/juniordugan
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

I haven't seen the snowy scene before. As many know Postcards are the bulk of my collection, and with about 150-200 p/cs of SDC, I cannot get enough. I have 9 SOTH cards that I will get to scanning once I scan the remainder of my SDC ones (yes I do have a priority list if you were wondering. Really it is a stack of "things to scan" and SOTH are about 15-20 down in the stack. By weeks end I hope to have ALL scanning done. Then I can move onto the 85 different brochures my dad has given to me over the holiday. The joys of being a pack rat! I will post a few later today.

Alright here is one of my coveted "two"fers. a piece that encompasses the best of both SDC & SOTH. This is Lloyd "Shad" Heller for those of you that didn't know!

Man, between all of us here on the forums, we could build an entire SDC museum. LOL

If you haven't checked out the hbw site it has many older SOTH and some Marvel Cave p/cs
I use that occasionally to date some of my PostCards

iF YOU THINK THATS GOOD...CHECK THIS OUT! This IS my museum! :D
Here is a thumbnail, of my thumbnails of about 3/4 of my P/cs some in this image are not p/cs but that's okay! You get the point. Since most are scanned, I now need to break them up into individual files instead of one big one like this!

Great photos of the Float Trip Junior, I haven't scene anything like that before.

I don't have the museum quality collection Rube has, but I started scanning to my flicker account, in case there might be something not already posted :)

You think if I printed out that 1972 season pass form and sent in my $7.50, they'd honor it?  ;)

DeweyBald

Yeah...and did you notice that the regular admission price is the same price as a drink price today?  $4.50 to get in....ah, the good old days!
