to the sign that used to say Silver Dollar City - Pop. 28 ?
We look for it every year & cant find it.

They put that sign up for years. Actually took it down in the winter time and back up in spring. Don't know what happened to it. Could be that they used the gimmick for so many years they decided to move in a different direction. I know over the last ten years or so they have moved away to some degree from the park being a "city" to it being a bit more of a mainstream theme park. The honchos in Georgia call the shots today, maybe they said to ditch the sign, it's too bad, whatever the reason. I liked seeing it up there, too.

Another one missing since February of this year:  the 16 MPH speed limit sign is gone!!!
