Just curious, but do they have Riverblast decorated/open for Christmas this year?

U Smell Smoke

I was wondering that myself.  Thanks for asking Parson.

They did last year, but the water cannons were turned off. So it was simply riding in the boat around the channel and off. No one wants to get squirted in the cold weather do they? Are they open this year...sorry don't know.
"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

Nope. Everything was closed off, and the boats were just sitting in the empty channel under tarps. I'm a little surprised it wasn't more popular last year as it was something to do for little kids, but I guess people didn't get the memo that the water effects were off or something.

My wife & I rode Riverblast last year during OTC. It was a lot of fun, we had just gotten "the works" and enjoyed sipping our hot chocolate while we slowly passed the various christmas scenes. It was VERY enjoyable, and a relaxing little boat ride.  :)

We were sad to see that all the water had been drained, and that it was not decorated hardly at all this year.  :'(

I guess that will be our one memory of Riverblast at OTC, like Flooded Mine at OTC in the 90's. Only once.
You have a great past just ahead of you.

no, riverblast looks pretty lonely this year.  NO lights on the fence around it, no lights on the bulding, water all drained, boats covered with tarps..  NOPE!!  season is over shut it down!  Looks kind of forlorn in that area... :'(
