Just was wondering if anyone has seen the recognition plaque that has been dedicated to Jack & Pete by the citizens of SDC?  It is located just to the left of the Lumbercamp near the waterfall.

How long as that been there? Cuz that looks kinda obvious and I'm sure I would have seen it...?

Not sure how long this has been there!  These photos were taken Dec 30, the last day of the season.

I don't remember seeing that on my Black Friday visit, and I think I would have noticed if it were there, so it was probably added right at the end of the season. Pretty neat.

Sixty years predates the "city" so that includes the ten years the Herschend family operated the cave only. I am guessing that this plaque goes back to the 50th anniversary year celebrations, but I don't know why no one had mentioned it before. I will say this, maybe it was previously in another location. I noticed the Marvel Cave Plaque that used to be attached to the wall outside the Ozark Marketplace, viewable by those going into the park, in recent years was on the cave side of the pathway just outside the Hospitality House. I know some of the other employee recongition signs have been moved around in years past, too.
