My old pal Jack McDowell, who worked at both SDC and Hee Haw Theater in Branson, emailed me today with a couple of old photos he found from way back in the early 1980's. I wanted to share them with  you because I knew most everyone would enjoy them. One photo shows Jack performing with Jon Hager (half of the Hager Twins act) on stage at Hee Haw Thearer, probably in 1983. The other photo is Jack and professional stuntman Larrs Lungdren flipping from the top of the Rube Dugan's Diving Bell entrance to a platform at Lake Silver as part of the comedy sketch that was performed twice a day in 1980. The skit involved SDC politician Eaton Doolittle (get it, a politician named "Eat and do little?) holding a political rally on Main Street, followed by a parade down to Lake Silver in front of the diving bell, and at the diving bell, another political rally took place in which a fight broke out involving gunplay and the stuntmen jumping from the roof of the diving bell building into a boat on the lake. Hope you like the shots. I want to thank Jack McDowell for emailing them to me, and publicly say I hope you don't mind me sharing them, Jack.

Jack emailed another photo to me of him in character as a gambler type figure he plays at Titanic Branson. If you go to the attraction he will do some card tricks and some magic for you. Check out the new photo:    http://www.flickr.com/photos/juniordugan

I emailed Jack and told him I'd shared the photos with everyone on this site. He was happy about it and glad that folks remember him so well from his SDC days.
