That's a lot of log flume, and I don't like the breaks in the splash down.

"Howdy there folks! My name is Junior Dugan, and I'll be drivin' your diving bell!"

Phantasialand is insane. They really set a uniquely high bar for themed thrill attractions. The park only gets about 1.75 million a year - that's less than SDC! I don't understand how they're able to do stuff like this year after year... but I sure hope the American parks (and consumers) start to take note.

What's the old saying, "less is more."

Notice that it shares some theming elements with a mine train coaster. This has been my wish with SDC should they ever redo American Plunge. Add a bobsled/mad mouse like coaster to the same footprint and have it interact with the flume as to run along side it like a railway and cross the splash area for a chance to get a little wet.
