Does anyone know if the same company that designed The Mummy indoor coaster at Universal Studios Florida is the same as Mystery mine at Dollywood? (Gerstlauer) The Mummy is a excellent under rated indoor coaster in my opinion.

Never mind I found my answer. Revenge of the Mummy was designed by Premier rides.

The Mummy is excellent, but a big part of that is that USF, like most major destinations, has a highly skilled engineering team that not only works with the principle designers/manufacturers to create unique high-level rides, but also can properly maintain their rides. You don't get that at the little regional parks. I mean, Premier is a pretty good group, but the Orlando parks are unique in their ability to really get down and dirty with the manufacturers and get exactly what they want.

HFEC has a tremendous division in Georgia that works on a lot of the thematic concepts at their properties, but they don't seem to have an noticeable engineering side yet. The Florida parks simply wouldn't have accepted the issues with Mystery Mine. They would have set some sort of standard for deflections or vibrations imparted on riders as part of the job.
