It was the big two on Fri.

We (my family) didn't leave the park until 11pm.  I have NEVER been at the park that late before.  This needs to happen more often.

The 26th was GREAT. perfect weather, low crowds, little wait time. The 27th was much more crowded. It took us almost an hour to get from SOTH to SDC due to the crowds. My Dad is still dealing with medical issues and we attempted to park in the handicapped section, but were forced because it was "FULL" to park in handicapped parking near stop #2. Right next to the tram, so not a problem, but the Valet/ Pay to park was still flowing in...

We didn't attempt the 28th, instead we went and kicked around Springfield for a while.

That isn't really right, at some point you have to give up the dollar to do the right thing.

The location of the priority parking was not near , or within walking distance , but lot 2 (C) has parking and team access . Not a problem until we saw open spots in handicapped lot (A). Next visit hopefully my dad will not need the spot, and we will park far far away, bit that's a good thing!

I did see something I never have, people parked down indian point at the farthest reaches of their property...Soo far away anyone know what lot this is?

Lot J is out by Deer Run, is that what you mean?

Across the street from Deer Run? If so then that's it! Here is my addition to the map... it is not exactly that close to the other lots, it is far far away nearing the Indian Point Chamber of Commerce more than SDC itself!

History Buff

We have had to park there on a couple of occasions.  Last year, we were there and had to walk a hundred million miles to catch the bus.  There was no lighting in the lot and there were large rocks and grass clumps.  The driving area was very narrow.  I could be wrong about the distance.

Here is the SDC map with a google map I placed in line to show how far this actually stretches.
It is a total of 1.58 miles from the entrance to the park, and if walking from the far reaches of the lot to the road where the bus was dropping people off, it was .52 miles (nearly the same as walking from stop 2 to the front of the park).
