I received this message from a friend that works there.

"Hi, Ray.  Just letting you know that Bittersweet Gallery will NOT be at SDC this year.  Nancy has to have hip replacement surgery next month, her dad has alzheimers, and there is a host of other factors contributing to this decision.  We are all at peace about it.  My back is thanking them, too.  We are moving out today, loading up in a semi.  I will miss seeing you, but so glad we keep in touch on fb."

I will miss this shop.

Just the tip of the changes.  I think some of you will be very surprised about what shops are no longer with us.  I don't have a confirmation of all of the store changes yet (and some conflicts) but maybe we can get a list together here in the next few weeks (if sources match up).

One theory on some of the changes is the whole "theme" SDC is going with this year.

Swoosh, would not a theme change mean a revamp of everything on park? Please don't tell me they are going to go Victorian again. That experiment was a disaster.

No. The whole Salute to America thing they're doing

Probably a whole lot of Chinese made American flag t shirts and painted flags on all kinds of junk. Wonder if they will replace the Duck Dynasty and swamp people junk with this new junk. Sorry I'm a little cranky today.

Hopefully with the American theme this year maybe we can get some American made items.

I guess we can expect to see Love My Country still open, then  ;)

Now, THAT would be irony:  close Love My Country in a year launching a patriotic theme   :o

Yea I thought it was done after last year.  I bought a lot of stuff on clearance there.

I've always thought there would be a market in Branson for a 100% made in the USA store, where everything sold was...wait for it...made in the USA.
