I was just on the website to buy my 2016 passes and couldn't figure out how to by the Preferred Parking Season Pass. I bought one 2014, didn't buy one this year, and was wanting to buy one for 2016. Are they not offering them for 2016?

Speaking of which, I added parking to my 2016 season pass. The only time we've paid for parking at the park was for preferred parking. I assumed at the time of purchasing my pass this meant I won't have to pay for preferred parking when I visit now. Of course the site didn't specify in detail. Does this mean my preferred parking is covered when visit now that I am pass holder with parking, or does this simply mean I still have to pay another up-charge, but they're going to be gracious enough (insert sarcastic face here) to discount the normal $12-$13 charge because I have a season pass?

Well this morning Parking isn't even an option on the addon's. guess I will wait a little while and see if it changes.

Backintime9, If you purchased the season parking pass, I am guessing cost was $30-$40, then preferred parking will be free to you when you visit. You get discounted preferred parking with a SDC season pass. Cost is discounted to $6 per day I believe, but of course could change in 2016.

Of curse all visitors can park in the free lots, well, for free. While I complain about the parking to my wife and I HATE the busses, the free parking is a huge benefit. I would think that SDC has higher expenses per square foot building and maintaining their lots than most amusement/theme parks.

I believe it is six dollars for PP. We never use it. Just the free parking for this house. And I am so thankful they provide this. Its such a nice bonus.

If I recall correctly you have to purchase the season pass parking at the same time as your season pass. It is in the neighborhood of $26.00 for unlimited preferred. It does not show up as a add on by itself but as a option between season pass purchase and checkout. Not buying a season pass this year myself.

Agreed Trams.  We park free as well.  The kids love the tram ride to the gate anyway.  It's part of the experience for them! (I miss the old ones as well!)

As of now we pay to park.  Once we don't have a stroller, it's back to free parking for us.  Getting a stroller or wagon on a tram isn't easy and trying to do it on a bus is even worse.
