Hey SDC Fans - in September the Cities of Tulsa and Springfield (as well as many other across the US) will host the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Walk / Run events. Come join us as we bring awareness and raise money for the fight against Childhood Cancer.

Last year between the walk / run and the Memphis marathon, I raised $17,001 for the hospital. If you want you can help me out this year as I try to get to over $20,000. Here is my fundraiser link: http://walkrun.stjude.org/JayCobb

Something you might not know:
Tulsa and Springfield have St. Jude Affiliate clinics. Children at these clinics are treated just like if they were in Memphis - they will never receive a bill for treatment, housing, food, or travel. This also allows the local St. Jude patients the ability to stay closer to home for treatments. Also, I am a former patient of St. Jude. In 1980 at the age of 9 I was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma. The doctors at St. Jude were the only ones that gave us hope...and in April of this year I will be a 40 year survivor!
