Here are some pics from the old tower. Remember that thing? We squeezed me, my dad, and my brother in for 4 quarters!

I totally forgot about the Magnum PI helicopter rides. The last pic is of my dad pointing the camera down at his Camaro. It also appears to have been the last pic on that roll of film. More old pics to follow in the days ahead.

Wow! Those are very nice rare gems you have there. That is so neat to see the Branson area back when I was still learning how to tie my shoe, and how to color within the lines.

So much as changed since those pictures were taken, but it's interesting to notice the few things that are still the same today. I sure miss those old helicopters! :)

I like the sign at the bottom of the 2nd pic that says - SDC Five Moutain Miles

Cool pics, Thanks for sharin'!

We have stacks upon stacks of the 80's, but NONE from the tower! I love the strip BEFORE Titanic photos. (As if the Titanic is the gauge to which time is measured!) The helicopters were one of my favorites, and it did at the time harken the exact same Magnum PI images for me! Great photos

Good grief, everyone....EMPTY THOSE PHOTO ALBUMS ON HERE!  ;D ;D ;D

Love those strip pics! All of you need to sit down and just unload Branson and SDC pics on here!

I remember that restaurant in the first picture. What was the name of that place?

Looking at Google street view of that same location, you see how much has changed.

STOP TALKING ABOUT OLD PICTURES...and post some, please! Anything ya got from SDC and Branson in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s! A great chunk of my photo albums have already been posted. Maybe I'll have to dig through them a little more and find a few more gems.  :)
