Just curious what we all on here do for Halloween.. We live out in the country in a very small community, & not many children come around. But, i do have a friend from work that has a haunted trail in his backyard. We usually go thru his trail & giggle about, its alot'a fun. He used to work at some of the haunted houses here in Kansas City.

Plus, what do you think the cut-off age limit for trick or treatin' is? My 24 year old daughter still dresses up & goes out with her friends & stuff. I think thats kinda silly cuz none of them have any children.
Live life like it's the last day!

I was stopped after elemetary school was over. I found it more rewarding to sit, and eat our candy whilst I passed out some to the trick or treaters. I did not miss the variety, or the walking etc.

I now teach middle school, and the sheer numbers of trick or treaters amazes me. It would be easier out of our 800+ students to count the Non -trick -or-treaters...

Probably watch scary movies and have a guilt free candy night at home with friends. I might go to Encounters (a.k.a Predator World) in Branson West for the haunted house (It's very cool) this weekend sometime...not sure yet.

Tonight and Friday night, the MSU Folklore Club is doing a haunted tour of the campus. I'm SO excited about it. We've got new actors this year who have just BLOWN us away.

On Saturday the club is doing a party at a park, then on Sunday evening--Halloween--we're going on the ghost tour of the Pythian Castle. After the tour, those of us who are doing NaNoWriMo this year are going to the write-in at Drury.

Nice Tinaalsgirl NaNoWriMo sounds awesome. I learned about it while doing a 24 hour movie competition (FilmRacing) a few weeks back. If I was a better writer than a painter, I'd take on the 1,600+ words per day needed to meet the 50,000 deadline by Nov 1! but instead I'll work on art work for those hours of mind numbing fun.

i think u should take the kids sat. nite... and then let the kids take u on sunday nite./

Ozark Outlaw

We have a local town here in central Arkansas that has passed a city wide approval to celebrate Halloween on Saturday this year so that the kids can use Sunday to get ready for school on Monday.

That is somewhat common. Also makes church goin' folks happier too :)

but how do you find this information? should I call the city chamber people that welcome new people to town. I think it is called the chamber of commerce??? or is that a bank? anyway. I think after work I will call that building.
