My fiance and I are considering getting married at the Wilderness church at Silver Dollar City.
Have any of y'all got married there? If so, would you recommend it? Is it very expensive.
Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Kurt

We were married there Oct. 15, 2005, and I highly recommend it!  Compared to other wedding packages at other places, it is really inexpensive.  We only had the ceremony there; we did our reception in Branson.  They did our cake and pictures, too.  At the time, you could do your own flowers and unity candle, so I did my own flowers and bought a simple unity candle.  We weren't fans of the fancy carved unity candles like in the candle shop.  They will play your music, provide someone to sing if you wish (my brother-in-law sang at ours), and place you exactly where you need to be at the right time (no rehearsal).  We spent the whole weekend with friends and family in Branson; it was certainly memorable, and we just stayed in Branson for a very short honeymoon.  We spent our wedding night at Celebration City with our closest friends, and we had concessions for our wedding night dinner.  Wouldn't change it for the world.

Ask me anything; I'll be glad to help!

My husband andI got married there last summer. We did the package where you go to ride in the horse and carriage. It was wonderful as we had nothing to do but show up. They took great photos, great food, flowers, everything was amazing. They even added on extra flowers as I had half a dozen bridesmaids and we were able to work out extra time for the reception. Its very well worth it and quite a deal. Just go to the wedding office in the front of the park or http://www.bransonsilverdollarcity.com/weddings/ I have photos on my facebook, send me a private message if you would like and I will send you a link.
