Nice photos. Ask RUBE DUGAN'S to post some of his collection here. You will be blown away.

The shirt is my all time favorite, it is from the late 90s.
The bumper sticker of Indian Point Campground is very old. It was above the door in my grandmothers chicken coop when i was 10+, ( that'd be 1975 ) it lay'd on the ground for years till my brother & i finally picked it up & brought it in. We had the ol' chicken coop demolished last year, that is why we snagged it.

Here's some pages of the picture book, it had no copywrite date on it that i can find. Only 1 page was to big, i will take another pic of it & try again.

Enjoy!

From the photos above, it appears the book you got at the Hospitality House was produced by SDC, not some outside entity. These are public relations shots from the past I've not seen. Obvious the description and words are "public relations" material from years past. I'd really love to snag one of these books. If anyone has a chance to pick up an extra copy at the Hospitality House, I'd be willing to send them a check for a book! Send me a private message if you can get one! Thanks. :)

I just bought this book from my brother for $20.00. All i can find is something that says - Widders Printing & Lithography. And the map in the back has a signature that says - Steve Miller.

Sorry my picture taking sucks, we dont have a scanner. I just take a shot with my video camera, upload'm to my computer & put'm on here.

Alright so I accessed the website from another computer (mac) and I was able to see the attachments! Great boook there. Much different than the one I have from a year later!

I am easy to confuse...the book you brought from your brother for $20...I'm guessing now upon review this is something OLD from probably the 1960's...maybe an old SDC guidebook you have? I think it would be absolutely great if the park would produce a big book that contained the full contents of all the old SDC guidebooks over the years! We could see in pictures and words how the park developed over the years.

Oh, THANKS for the photos! Blurry or not, they are great to see. Question: I saw on the city map in this booklet that in the early days, there was a "Hain'ted House." Anybody know about that? Slantin' Sams is listed, too. So they had to be different attractions. I also saw the carriage rides and the mule swing were in the same location. My, things have changed. I really enjoyed the aerial shot, pre mine/mill restaurant days.
